Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment and ensuring the safety of our employees and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a visible and proactive security presence on site
- Operating the control room and gatehouse systems
- Maintaining logbooks and records, and ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion
- Conducting patrols and responding to security incidents
- Providing excellent customer service and communication skills
We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you are passionate about security and have a commitment to creating a safe and secure environment, we encourage you to apply.
Essential SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid SIA licence
- A driving licence
- Data Centre site experience is preferred but not essential
- The ability to work days and nights, 12 hour shifts with plenty of overtime available
- Good communication skills and the ability to remain vigilant
