About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. This full-time position offers a 30 hour contract with overtime available up to 6 shifts per week within Data centres in Slough, Berkshire.

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in creating a secure environment, providing a comprehensive and dynamic security role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reception and access control
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Presentable and professional appearance
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills
  • Conducting patrols to maintain site security
  • Operating the control room/gatehouse and reception systems
  • Providing a visible and proactive security presence
  • Maintaining logbooks and records
  • Handling crisis and emergency situations
Essential Skills
  • SIA licence
  • Driving Licence
  • Data Centre site experience preferred but not essential
  • Able to work days and nights, 12 hour shifts with overtime available
  • Good communication skills
  • Remain vigilant and alert
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Hard working and reliable
  • Computer literate
