About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Sonderwell. As a key member of our care staff, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live independently and fulfill their potential.

Job Description:

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients with complex needs, including peg feeding, oral suctioning, oxygen therapy, and epilepsy/seizure management.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families, gaining trust and understanding their unique requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with our care coordinators and nurse managers to ensure seamless client support and continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing personal care and support to individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require manual handling or standing for long periods.
