We have a diverse client base, from mid-market to large FTSE listed groups, from public sector to real estate to financial services.

The Corporate Accounting team is based in London and Birmingham, but location for the right candidate is flexible.

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns
  • Maintaining lasting client relationships across a portfolio of clients and actively building a network to help address client needs
  • Responding to client requests for ad hoc technical advice
  • Liaising with other departments and key contacts within BTA
  • Supporting on sales activities by working with more senior members of the team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and management accounts
  • Provide VAT compliance advice and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Contribute to the development of the Corporate Accounting team

Requirements:

  • ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Working knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements and VAT
  • Project management/co-ordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and engage with personal development needs
