Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager of Compliance and Advisory Services

AAB is a leading provider of business critical services, delivering solutions that help businesses thrive. We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Corporate Tax team in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance and Advisory Services: Deliver timely and high-quality Corporation Tax compliance and advisory services to AAB clients across all locations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and control the delivery of assignments, resourcing, setting timescales and budgets, and presenting work to clients.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise, undertaking detailed research and presenting findings clearly at client meetings or in written form.
- Line Management: Line manage junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training, ensuring effective delegation of work.
- Culture and Procedures: Enforce AAB's procedures and culture in relation to feedback, accountability, and coaching.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the technology-enabled corporation tax compliance process and procedures across the AAB group.
- Agile Workload Management: Work in an agile way to manage workload and ensure delivery to client satisfaction.
- Business Decisions: Make effective business decisions in relation to team management and key performance indicators.
- Sustainability and Growth: Play an active role in the sustainability, development, and growth of the firm.
- CA or equivalent qualification
- Professional, technical, and proactive approach to delivering tax advice
- Strong compliance focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Previous line management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages and Alphatax
