As a Business Development Representative, you will be part of the National Field Sales Team and will be responsible for driving the distribution and visibility of A.G. BARR Group's core brands within Impulse outlets within a given territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive distribution and visibility: Ensure that A.G. BARR Group's core brands are maximized through the placement of campaign and brand Point Of Sale (POS), with a particular focus on supporting the company's ongoing energy portfolio distribution plan.
  • Embed energy portfolio and Focus 5 Brands: Drive improved rate of sale and distribution on key energy and 500ml packs regardless of Route To Market.
  • Brand Plan Activation/In-Store Activation: Selling and communicating brand plans at a local level, educating retailers and ensuring key business messages are relayed effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Participate in targeted tactical activity drives as briefed by your Field Sales Manager.
  • Presentation and Sales: Presenting brands via a prepared presentation and securing a commitment to purchase.
  • Administration: Completing admin as required.
  • Brand Awareness: Build brand awareness through excellent execution at the point of purchase.
  • Distribution: Build distribution that matches our brand portfolio to the customer type.
  • Marketing Plan: Improving the distribution of key brands in line with the company marketing plan.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence essential.
  • Ability to communicate internally using account performance data.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings that may require overnights.
