Medical Assistant Part Time - Brighton

Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

The Medical Assistant position is ideal for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, paperless environment. Daily tasks include taking vitals, rooming patients, cleaning rooms, assisting with procedures, etc. As an urgent care clinic, we see mostly lower acuity patients but focus on providing excellent medical care. We need someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

  • Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations, and wound care
  • Conduct lab testing including urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep, and influenza testing, rapid HIV testing

To be successful in this role, you should have certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (except in those locations permitted by law for exemption with experience, diploma, and/or national certification). 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, as well as phlebotomy experience.
