We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and professional admin team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to over 600 staff within the Integrated Therapies and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams across West Suffolk Hospital and the Local Community Services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with staff of all levels with an organized and motivated approach, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A good working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, is fundamental to working in this busy environment. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in admin within the healthcare sector, although this is not essential.

Person Specification

Essential

  • 4 GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent, to include Maths and English.
  • NVQ Level 3 - Business Administration or relevant qualification/experience.
  • Clerical Experience.
  • Able to work to specific policies and guidelines.
  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Understanding of medical terminology.
