We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Macclesfield Supported Living Network.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living in their own homes. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide individualised and person-centred care and support to enable people to lead fulfilled lives, participate in their local community, and maintain tenancy agreements.

You will work in partnership with the individual, parents and families, and a range of other services to ensure that people's choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in how their service is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, administration of medication, and managing finances.
  • Work in partnership with individuals, families, and other services to ensure that people's needs are met and their choices are respected.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that people receive the support they need.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care and support plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's work.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
  • Compassionate and empathetic with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Flexible and able to work a rota that includes weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-in shifts.
  • Willing to learn and develop their skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the role.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £12.18 per hour, rising to £12.38 with time and a half at weekends and bank holidays, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day which are double pay.
