Job Summary

We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our Macclesfield Supported Living Network team. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide individualised and person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, and administration of medication.
  • Work in partnership with individuals, parents, and families to ensure their choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in how their service is provided.
  • Maximise individuals' independence, choice, and control, and provide support over a 24-hour period.

Requirements

  • A positive approach and the right values to work with vulnerable adults.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-in shifts.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support in a person-centred way.

  • A competitive salary of £12.18-£12.38 per hour, with time and a half at weekends and double pay on bank holidays.
