About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Team Lead to join our finance team and lead our AP/AR operations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing AP/AR teams and will be responsible for leading, guiding, and developing our team members.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and managing the AP/AR team to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to team members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
  • Setting and monitoring team goals and objectives to ensure alignment with departmental targets
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for AP/AR-related matters
  • Providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data
  • Ensuring accurate month-end closing activities for AP/AR, including reconciliations
  • Managing relationships with vendors and resolving any disputes or discrepancies
  • Monitoring and controlling AP and AR aging reports to ensure timely payments and collections
Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar position leading an AP/AR team
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of data accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and grow with the company
