As a Retail Toy Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work independently, using your initiative to maintain a well-organized and inviting toy department. You will be responsible for merchandising stock, handling deliveries, replenishing stock, and managing prices. Additionally, you will perform start-of-shift bay checks to ensure pricing accuracy, stock levels, and general standards are met.

You will also be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, maintaining good working relationships and providing excellent customer service. Your passion for toys and ability to engage with customers will be essential in driving sales and creating a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock, and price management
  • Start-of-shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps, and recovering general standards
  • Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness, and good organization
  • Maintaining good communication with colleagues and Line Manager
  • Acknowledging customers in the aisles, making conversation, and encouraging a sale using your knowledge of toys

As a Retail Toy Sales Associate, you can expect a competitive salary of £9.50 per hour (based on 30 hours/week), plus additional benefits including:
