We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Mental Health Assistant at a SEN school in Luton. As a key member of our team, you will provide first-class support to children with a range of needs, including ADHD, communication difficulties, and Down syndrome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and mental health support to children with complex needs
- Work closely with the Clinical team to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a tailored learning experience
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children's needs
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology or related field (preferable)
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (ideal)
- Knowledge of mental health and autism
- Local commute to Luton
