About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing excellent care to patients admitted to our in-patient ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and circumstances.
  • Contribute to the development of research, development, medical education, and special interests within the trust.
  • Participate in peer support and professional development opportunities, including the trust-wide consultant network.
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty.
