Exciting Opportunity for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West Sussex Care Delivery Service on a fixed-term basis for one year. The successful candidate will be based in Jade Ward, which provides in-patient care and treatment for adults.

Key Highlights
  • £25,000 Recruitment and Retention payment
  • Up to £8,000 relocation allowance
  • Opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support

This role offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for research, development, medical education, and special interests. On appointment, you will have the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support from colleagues in West Sussex.

Requirements
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within three months of appointment
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
  • MRCPsych
  • In good standing with GMC with respect to warnings and conditions on practice
  • Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service
