Exciting Opportunity for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West Sussex Care Delivery Service. The successful candidate will be based at our Community Assessment and Treatment service team at Cantelupe House, East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Main Responsibilities

The team provides care for adults of working age from East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. As a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with other services in the local area, including the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team, the Liaison team, and acute in-patient services. You will also have the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support from colleagues in West Sussex.

Requirements
  • Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty
  • Experience in clinical audit and quality improvement programs
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
  • MRCPsych
  • In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
  • Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service
