About this Sustainable Infrastructure Project:

We are seeking an experienced Sustainable Infrastructure Project Lead to join our Iberdrola Renewables team in Glasgow.

This role involves leading and recommending project strategies to deliver onshore renewable projects, including BESS and Solar PV developments. You will be responsible for financial management, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control, as well as tendering processes and managing external suppliers and contractors.

The successful candidate will have experience in project design techniques, requirements, and consenting major infrastructure projects in the UK. A detailed understanding of Environmental Impact Assessments and local planning processes is essential.

As a highly developed negotiator and influencer, you will oversee the compilation of high-quality Environmental Impact Assessments and develop and deliver high-quality planning applications and fit-for-purpose consents.

You will be based at our Glasgow HQ, with some travel required to facilitate project meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend project strategies to deliver onshore renewable projects.
  • Lead financial management, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Manage tendering processes and external suppliers and contractors.
  • Compile and deliver high-quality Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Develop and submit high-quality planning applications and consents.
