The School Nurse - Health and Wellbeing Specialist will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing of all pupils and staff at our independent preparatory school for girls aged 2-11. This is a key role that involves effectively communicating with members of our School community to promote good health and wellbeing within the School.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, advise and support first aid and wellbeing concerns when presented by pupils and staff, taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency and communicating with staff and parents as necessary and in line with school policy.
Administer medication where required in line with the School's First Aid and Medical Provision Policy.
Work closely with the school's pastoral team in promoting the well-being and safeguarding of pupils.
Requirements:
This position requires a Registered Nurse with a competitive salary offered commensurate with this important term time only role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality of information acquired while undertaking First Aid and Wellbeing First Aid duties for the School.
