School Nurse Opportunity

Careerline Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate School Nurse to join our team at an independent preparatory school for girls aged 2-11. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing of all pupils and staff, effectively communicating with the school community to ensure good health and wellbeing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality of information acquired while undertaking First Aid and Wellbeing First Aid duties.
  • Work closely with the school's pastoral team to promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of pupils.
  • Assess, advise, and support first aid and wellbeing concerns presented by pupils and staff, taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency and communicating with staff and parents as necessary.
  • Administer medication where required in line with the School's First Aid and Medical Provision Policy.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, term time only, with the addition of one day prior to the start of each academic term. A competitive salary is offered commensurate with this important term time only role.
