We are seeking a skilled and experienced Art Handling Specialist to join our team at Red Recruit.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine art handling and logistics, with a proven ability to handle and pack various types of fine art for transportation.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Art Handling and Packing: Safely handle and pack fine art for transportation, including wrapping, loading, and securing pieces in trucks.
  • Installation and Deinstallation: Install and deinstall fine art and furniture in various settings, including corporate and residential properties.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Assist with the transportation of fine art, including pickups, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Condition Reporting and Communication: Prepare condition reports and photographs of artworks as needed, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements for the Art Handling Specialist:


  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in fine art handling and logistics.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, physical fitness, and ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, or mechanized lifts.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with art terminology and ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art, and antiques.
