Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Instrument Preparation Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and processing of medical instruments, ensuring they are clean, sterile, and ready for use in medical procedures. They will also contribute to the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and facilities within the department.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills, as well as basic computer skills. They will also possess a genuine interest in healthcare and patient safety, with high standards and ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful applicant will be required to work permanent weekends with a backfill day off in the week, on call, and bank holiday shifts.
