Main Duties

The Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit provides a range of services, including the supply and maintenance of surgical instruments used in surgical and medical procedures.

Applicants should have a good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills, as well as basic computer skills. No experience is necessary, as full in-house training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking, cleaning, disinfecting, packaging, sterilising, and delivering surgical instruments back to operating theatres, wards, departments, clinics, and GP surgeries.
