About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Headteacher to join our specialist school in Stockport, providing vital support and education for young people with complex behaviors and SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the strategic and operational management of the school, contributing to the development of effective policies and procedures.
- Lead and inspire staff, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth across KS1–KS3.
- Develop and implement initiatives to support students' educational and emotional well-being, ensuring positive outcomes for all.
- Collaborate with the Headteacher, supporting the school's vision and delivering high standards of education and care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with complex behaviors and SEMH, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Strong leadership skills, with a commitment to high expectations for all students and staff.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to driving positive outcomes, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
