Job Overview

As a Distressed Loan Settlement Vice President at Barclays Bank UK PLC, you will play a critical role in supporting Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. This position requires a strong understanding of loan settlement in secondary markets, loan IQ, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes

• Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency

• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes

• Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders

Vice President Expectations

• Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment

• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda

• Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does

• Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience with loan settlement in secondary markets

• Strong understanding of loan IQ and stakeholder management

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
