Job Title: SEN Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SEN Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at a forward-thinking educational establishment in Surrey. As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist students in their learning journey and overall well-being, ensuring they have the best opportunities to flourish in a nurturing and secure setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning and evaluating learning activities to support student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress and assist in monitoring and reporting student progress in line with school policies.
  • Support positive behaviour and adapt responses to changes in student behaviour, promoting holistic development and British values within the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated educational activities, fostering students' holistic development.
Requirements:
  • Experience in SEN settings, a valid UK driving license, and Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning.
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above and understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • Knowledge or experience working with SEN or SEMH/ASD is advantageous.
