About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted Outstanding school. The successful candidate will work with students with Autism and associated complex needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching assistance to the teacher, as defined in the weekly/daily/seasonal planning
  • Work 1:1 with students, providing individualized support and activities
  • Support the general well-being of learners, monitoring and evaluating their progress under the guidance of the teacher
  • Assist teachers in the use of relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Ability to work with learners who have various learning difficulties and SEN needs
  • Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
  • Flexibility in approach to education
  • Experience working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential
