Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Qualified Social Workers to join our team at 21HSC, a leading provider of Health and Social Care services. As a Social Worker - Children's Services, you will be responsible for working with children and families in a range of circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing children and families, devising tailored plans to address identified needs
  • Promoting children remaining with their families or carers through preventing family breakdowns, and reuniting children separated by temporary crisis
  • Working pattern will generally reflect standard office hours, with some flexible working as required
  • Working directly with children and families at the point of crisis, ensuring children are prioritised

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS or Masters
  • Social Work England Registration or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children and families
  • Demonstrable risk assessment skills
  • Ability to understand and be sensitive to emotional difficulties, and to address challenging behaviour of children
  • Understanding the impact of the 'toxic trio' on children and families
