Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team in Denham, Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment within our manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include daily cleaning, waste management, machine maintenance cleaning, and yard management.
- Daily Cleaning:
Ensure work areas are tidy and safe, reducing risks of accidents. Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. - Waste Management:
Empty swarf bins and dispose of materials safely. - Machine Maintenance Cleaning:
Clean the exterior of machines and remove any waste or debris. Empty sumps and clean areas around machines. Manage coolant and oil spills, ensuring proper clean-up. - Yard Management:
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of outdoor areas, including skips and walkways.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in machine cleaning, waste management, or handling hazardous materials. Physically capable of handling heavy lifting and manual tasks. Forklift or Robur Pallet Truck experience is a plus, but not essential.
Estimated Salary Range:
£26,775 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
