Service Lead for Children's Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Lead to join our team in Children's Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Healthy Child Programme and the Cambridgeshire Children in Care Team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and the Cambridgeshire Children in Care team, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to local residents.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, enhance patient experience, and sustain safe, efficient, and affordable services.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including private and public organizations, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Provide effective leadership for the HCP and CiC teams, ensuring all staff are supported to undertake their roles and responsibilities.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively with children, young people, families, and carers.
- Previous Healthy Child Programme Senior Leadership experience.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent leadership skills, including communication, facilitation, empowering, and relationship skills.
- Excellent financial management, planning, and performance management skills.
- Ability to balance competing demands and deliver against deadlines.
