As a Habitats Regulations Compliance Expert at ERSG Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients meet their environmental compliance obligations. We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a strong background in implementing the Habitats Directive and a deep understanding of offshore wind and/or offshore/marine ecology.

Your expertise in derogation under HRA and compensatory measures will be essential in developing effective strategies for managing consent-related risks and achieving project objectives. You will work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors to identify potential compliance issues and develop targeted solutions to mitigate these risks.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a passion for environmental compliance to take on a leading role in our Consents Team. You will have the opportunity to work on complex environmental permitting projects, including offshore wind farms and other developments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They should also have strong organisational skills with the ability to produce high-quality work to deadlines and work flexibly to respond to changing priorities.

Our company offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
