Habitat Regulations Advisor Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Consent Manager to support our Consents Team at ATTB - The Big Jobsite, who will primarily work from home with occasional visits to Glasgow, Scotland.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of Habitat Regulations Assessments and relevant consenting procedures.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects efficiently.

Success in this role demands proficiency in environmental laws, especially the Habitats Directive and offshore wind/marine ecology. An understanding of derogation under HRA and the creation/implementing compensatory measures is beneficial. Conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills are also necessary.

In addition to these requirements, you must have excellent organisational abilities to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and deliver high-quality results. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders and make meaningful contributions to environmental projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Practical experience in applying the Habitats Directive and/or offshore wind/marine ecology theories.
  • Thorough knowledge of NSIP/DCO and Marine Licensing protocols.
  • Skilled in communicating with diverse groups and fostering successful working relationships.
