Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consent Manager to join our Consents Team at ATTB - The Big Jobsite. This is a remote-based position with occasional travel to Glasgow, Scotland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of Habitat Regulations Assessments and associated consenting processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.

This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, particularly the Habitats Directive and offshore wind/marine ecology. Experience in application of derogation under HRA and development/implementation of compensatory measures is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

A commercial approach to work, challenging colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors to manage risk and achieve viable solutions to consenting issues, is critical to success in this role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to produce high-quality work to deadlines, while working flexibly to respond to changing priorities, are also required.

Requirements
  • Experience in implementing the Habitats Directive and/or offshore wind/marine ecology.
  • Knowledge of NSIP/DCO and Marine Licensing processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
