Business Development Manager

The Head of FP&A will be responsible for creating a world-class Group FP&A function, conducting in-depth analysis of existing data, and providing meaningful insights to support the business's growth strategy.
This role involves developing and owning the Group corporate model, leading the holistic corporate financial planning process, and raising awareness of financial planning across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to optimize commercial levers, deliver profit improvement, and manage risks and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a three-year plan, annual budget, and rolling forecasts
- Collaborating with the Group Financial Controller to ensure alignment and consistency between the corporate model and periodic reporting
- Establishing standard budgeting templates and processes across the Group
- Driving commercial business partnering between central finance and business units
- Managing the capital approval process and project appraisal
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with experience in a lead FP&A position in a small to medium-sized organization. They will possess natural business acumen, be proficient in financial modeling, and have a strong understanding of commercial factors.
**Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum**, depending on experience and qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive individual looking to advance their career towards a senior leadership position.
