Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Expert to join our dynamic Risk Management team at PIB Risk Management.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for providing Health and Safety Consultancy services within various sectors, including Automotive, Engineering & Manufacturing, Haulage & Distribution, and Retail & Commercial. This will involve working with clients across the Northamptonshire region and surrounding areas as required.

As a Health and Safety Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, and policies;
  • Conducting site audits, inspections, and accident investigations;
  • Providing technical support to colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders;
  • Representing the Company and client when dealing with enforcing authorities, insurance companies, and other external parties;

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate;
  • Excellent documented Continuing Professional Development (CPD);
  • Excellent report writing skills;
  • A good understanding of current legislation and standards;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Forward-thinking and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure;
  • A clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
