Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for a **Health & Safety Advisor** to work with one of our clients based in Northampton on a permanent basis. This role will be working closely to support the SHEQ Manager with the overall management of H&S within the business. In the role you will work with both the project and operational teams to advise, monitor, and drive to improve H&S performance.

**Hours**:Monday to Friday day shift

**Pay**:£36,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

**Location**:Northampton with UK travel

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication

**H&S DUTIES**
- Provide professional health and safety information, advice, and
- Manage, maintain, and improve safety procedures in the
- Work proactively in the development of Risk Assessments with department
- Update safe systems of work outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
- Assist in reviewing Risk Assessments.
- Identify opportunities to reduce risk and propose changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
- Undertake regular site inspections to check policies and procedures that are being implemented.
- Act as the accident reporting officer for the business and undertake accident and incident investigations as directed by the SHEQ Manager.
- Routine H&S equipment audits, monitoring, and
- Monthly audits of safety
- Produce monthly
- Lead in-house training with managers and employees on health and safety issues and
- Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.

As a H&S Advisor you will provide general H&S advice, whilst promoting H&S good practice and supporting managers and employees with training. This will include H&S inductions. Much of your time will be field-based coaching and supporting our teams to develop and improve on safe systems of work.

**Salary**: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
