Are you an experienced PE teacher seeking a new opportunity in Birmingham?
A rewarding role has become available at a specialist education centre in Central Birmingham. This position is full-time and long-term until the end of the academic year.

  • Develop high-quality physical education lessons using the national curriculum
  • Collaborate with the Curriculum Lead to tailor lesson plans according to learner requirements
  • Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters engagement
  • Support students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Conduct informal assessments and progress reports for individual pupils
  • Organize extracurricular sports activities
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Lead and Pastoral team to ensure each pupil achieves their targets and potential
  • Maintain effective communication with parents when required

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Strong passion and dedication to teaching
  • Extensive experience in sports and coaching
  • Prior experience working in a SEN school or Alternative Provision
  • QTS/Sports qualification (not essential)
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and understanding of children with behavioural challenges and SEMH
  • Exhibit strong resilience, patience, and teamwork skills

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Winner Recruitment is committed to providing a supportive environment where our educators can grow professionally and personally.
