About the Position

Malt Ai is seeking a talented Machine Learning Researcher to join our team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in machine learning and AI, identifying novel approaches and methodologies for LLM-based solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop experimental prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate research ideas.
  • Design, implement, and optimise machine learning algorithms and models with a focus on scalability, robustness, and performance.
  • Collaborate on data collection, cleansing, and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets for model training and evaluation.
  • Contribute to our thought leadership positioning by working as a member of our research team.
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in machine learning and read recent publications to maintain a strong understanding of current AI trends and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with a deep understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques. Industry experience in AI research, machine learning, or data science is essential, along with a strong record of published work or contributions to open-source projects.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
