At Reed- UNLIMITED, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge clinical research services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Team Operations Scheduler to join our team.

About the Role

  • This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension, based in our state-of-the-art Clinical Research Unit in the UK.
  • As a Team Operations Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical trials, coordinating the allocation of personnel to various projects, and ensuring that all clinical procedures and participant safety activities are covered 24/7.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing study tasks daily, assessing staffing needs, and scheduling team members accordingly to meet study-specific requirements.
  • You will also develop and maintain detailed shift rotas covering over 50 colleagues from various teams, manage emergencies, and handle staff PTO, holiday requests, and other scheduling issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed shift rotas covering over 50 colleagues from various teams.
  • Manage emergencies and ensure the clinic is always staffed.
  • Handle staff PTO, holiday requests, and other scheduling issues.
  • Coordinate with the Planning Team and the Clinic's Leadership to align staffing needs with project timelines.

Requirements

  • GCSE level education.
  • Experience in a scheduling role, ideally planning and scheduling diaries, rotas, and shifts for large teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Confidence in asking colleagues to adjust shifts or take on additional work at short notice.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency, especially in Excel.
