Job Role: Professional Standards Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and compliance of financial advisers within a forward-thinking, client-focused business. You'll be instrumental in maintaining high professional standards and ensuring our financial advisers are both compliant and well-supported in their career development.

The salary for this role is between £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, negotiable dependant on overall experience & qualifications. You'll be working closely with our Directors and wider team to uphold our professional standards.

About the Role

As a Professional Standards Officer, you'll be responsible for conducting regular assessments, delivering coaching and development plans, and maintaining robust records of T&C activity. You'll also work closely with our Directors and wider team to uphold our professional standards.

What We Need From You
  • A Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • A strong understanding of the financial planning and wealth management industry, including regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in a similar PSO or compliance role.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet advisers and attend occasional office meetings.
