Fresh Opportunity in Credit Management

We are seeking an Accounts Technician with experience in a fast-paced credit control environment to join our client's team in Fareham. As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the collections and management of accounts, ensuring prompt payment and positive customer outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include effective credit control activities, efficient query resolution, and minimising aged debt. You will maintain productivity and service standards across teams, collaborate with colleagues in the offshore team, and provide oversight and support to their operations.

  • Estimated salary range: £13,500 - £14,300 per year (approximately £650-£680 per week)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Hybrid working available once training has been completed - 1-2 days in the office

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ongoing study or qualifications with the Institute of Credit Management (ICM) is desired.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced credit control environment.
  • Previous experience in a Finance Operations function or relevant business context.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel skills for statement production.
  • Solid credit control experience in a financial services background, with insurance experience being desirable.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build relationships with customers.
  • High level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
