Music Teacher (Maternity Cover) - January 2025 Start

Location: South London

Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover

Salary: MPS/UPS (ECTs Welcome)

TimePlan Education is working with a dynamic academy in South London, renowned for its innovative approach to learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in January 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to join a forward-thinking school with a strong commitment to academic excellence and the arts. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Music at BTEC and GCSE (KS4) levels, inspiring students to excel in their musical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Collaborate with the school's vibrant arts department and integrate technology into music education where possible.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to explore their musical talents.

Requirements:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
  • Have experience teaching Music at KS4 level, including BTEC and GCSE.
  • Be passionate about music education and able to motivate and engage students.
