We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at The Business Connection. As a key member of our Payments team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a payroll role and be able to manage the working day and prioritise tasks effectively. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong attention to detail when entering data, producing reports and making calculations.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, and a health and wellbeing program.

Job Overview:

As a Financial Administrator, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our business. You will be responsible for processing employee and subcontractor payments, as well as managing pension auto enrolment and other financial tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a payroll role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail when entering data, producing reports and making calculations.
  • Microsoft Excel skills to a good level.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
