Valve Maintenance Specialist

SGS is seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our team. As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of various types of valves and actuators.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspection & Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain valves and actuators to ensure they are operating effectively and safely.
- Repair & Testing: Carry out repairs and perform rigorous testing to certify that all equipment meets the required standards.
- Client Liaison: Work closely with clients, suppliers, and third parties to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction.
- Site Work: Operate both in the workshop and at various client sites, including offshore locations, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring all work is documented according to company procedures.
- An apprenticeship background in an engineering discipline or suitable relevant experience within the specific field of valve overhaul, repair, and certification.
- A full, valid driving license for use in the UK.
