About the Role

Knauf UK & Ireland is a leading manufacturer of lightweight building materials for the construction industry. We are seeking a skilled Shift Electrician to join our Engineering Team in Immingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply electrical expertise to optimize plant availability through efficient preventative maintenance and swift responses to breakdowns.
  • Assist the manufacturing team by addressing breakdowns, resolving quality issues, implementing technical improvements, and supporting daily operations.
  • Develop and carry out preventative maintenance schedules, monitor machine failures, and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Prepare work for maintenance periods, including sourcing parts and equipment, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out on SAP and participate in team and individual projects, including Staff Council and Health & Safety.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as an Electrician within motor maintenance, fault finding, PPM maintenance, panel maintenance, etc.
  • Knowledge of electrical power and control, PLC control systems, and production, engineering, or process controls.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work and procedures, and an excellent regard for health and safety.
