Valve Maintenance Specialist

SGS is seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our team. As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, testing, and certification of various types of valves and actuators.
Key Responsibilities- Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain valves and actuators to ensure they are operating effectively and safely.
- Repair and Testing: Carry out repairs and perform rigorous testing to certify that all equipment meets the required standards.
- Client Liaison: Work closely with clients, suppliers, and third parties to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction.
- Site Work: Operate both in the workshop and at various client sites, including offshore locations, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring all work is documented according to company procedures.
To be a successful candidate, you will have an apprenticeship background in an engineering discipline, or suitable relevant experience within the specific field of valve overhaul, repair, and certification. It is also desirable to have a full, valid driving license for use in the UK.
