Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant Wanted

Job Type: Full-time, 5 days a week

Location: Yeovil

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-resourced special school in Yeovil. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and have a strong ability to adapt to individual needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Adapt lesson activities to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs
  • Create and maintain a stimulating learning environment that promotes achievement and well-being
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
  • Support students in developing social skills and self-regulation skills
  • Assist the teacher with classroom management

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK (Valid Visa)
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay and Vetting:

  • Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI
