Aerospace Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking skilled Assembly/Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Shorterm Group in Gloucester. This exciting opportunity allows you to work on cutting-edge aircraft technology, collaborating closely with Airbus to create parts for new aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test aerospace components to exacting standards.
- Perform relevant administrative tasks to ensure project success.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Utilize your previous fitting/assembly experience (ideally within aerospace, though other industries are welcome).
Qualifications:
- Completion of a full engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering-related field is required.
What We Offer:
- Starting salary: £35,700 + generous shift allowance (approx. £44k with shifts).
- Shifts: Days, lates, and nights available on a 2-week rotation.
- Shift premiums: 38.5% for nights and 39.75% for lates.
