Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Family Support Specialist to provide support and guidance to children and families in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and experience with Safeguarding Work, Child Protection, and high-level Child in Need cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding Work - Child Protection
  • High-level Child in Need cases
  • Undertake days on duty within the team
  • Court work and court representation

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of $66,000 - $78,000 per year (equivalent to £30 – £35 per hour), ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and a supportive and collaborative work environment make this an attractive opportunity for a qualified social worker.

This role requires a dynamic and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in South Derbyshire and the South Dales.
