Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager
Job Summary:
Boden Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead the facilities functions of a large mixed-use site in East London. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of in-house staff and overseeing external contractors to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all facilities functions, working closely with the General Manager to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate the strategic direction and day-to-day management of planned maintenance and repair programs.
- Manage key supplier contracts to ensure optimal value and delivery.
- Manage and set service charge budgets.
- Develop and deliver the Facilities CAPEX and OPEX plans.
- Support the continued certification of ISO45001, ISO14001, and BREEAM.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior facilities management role, managing large single sites or multiple commercial properties.
- Extensive knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements.
- Relevant safety training and working knowledge of health and safety legislation, with practical experience in implementing procedures.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and productivity maximization.
- Proven experience in budget development and management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective at all levels.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to achieve results through others.
