Job SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety & Quality Graduate to join our business. A hands-on opportunity to understand and impact on food safety, quality, and animal welfare across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment ensuring legislative compliance, customer excellence, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Assist with food safety and quality initiatives
- Ensure the on-going maintenance and updating of department files, including SOPs, risk assessments, HACCP documents, and quality management documents
- Assist in carrying out audits as per schedule
- Assist in evaluating written SOPs being implemented, trained, and compiled within all areas
- Support the maintaining and managing of non-conformant logs
- Log complaints and communicate to relevant personnel
- Assist with close investigations into complaints, including root cause analysis
- Carry out microbiological and chemical sampling of finished product and raw materials as per sampling schedule
- Carry out internal audits and assist with external and customer audits
- Work collaboratively with the Food Safety and Quality team to monitor quality assurance, hygiene, and food safety activities
- Understand the importance of Animal Welfare within the business
- 1-to-1 coaching, dedicated mentors, and bespoke management development to help you grow professionally
